ART PIECES :

All items are handmade with care. Each single product is individually designed, crafted and finished, and will never be duplicated, or the same design produced in larger quantities.
(Wholesale agreements can be made for 10 pieces or more per item, if the retailer allows for an artistic variety of each ordered item).

ORDERS:
Prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars. Presently, orders can only be placed by email : artforyou@xplornet.com or by telephone: 1-705-282-1120

SHIPPING:
Shipping and handling fees will be added to the purchase price. Depending upon the size and weight of the items to be shipped, as well as the destination, we will select the most efficient method and carrier for shipping.
Small items: 'Surface' or 'Airmail' by Canada Post
Larger items: by Courier - Purolator (from Manitoulin Island), FedEx for U.S.A. and Overseas.

INSURANCE:
Lost or broken items cannot be replaced by a new piece of the exact same design. The value/purchase price of smaller pieces are insured. Insurance is included in the shipping fees that are charged by Canada Post or Courier.
On agreement with the customer, additional insurance can be purchased for larger and more expensive art pieces. The costs for extra insurance will be added to the price of the chosen items, along with shipping and handling.

TAXES:

Sales Tax applies to all goods and services for orders/shipments within Canada.
No taxes apply to orders and shipments outside of Canada.

SHIPPING TIME:

Canada: Depending upon size, weight and distance (and weather!)
2-7 days in Ontario, 3-10 days to Quebec, 5 days - 3 weeks to all other provinces.
All Other Countries: Canada Post, Surface Mail - 2-10 weeks
Canada Post, Airmail 1-6 weeks, Courier 1-2 weeks

 


PACKING:

Regardless of size, each item is carefully and securely packed, to ensure that items reach our customers undamaged. We try to pack as environmentally friendly as possible.
Gift wrapping is possible upon request.

REPLACEMENT, EXCHANGE:
Because of the uniqueness of each item, a broken or damaged art piece cannot be replaced with an identical match. It must be clear and provable that the item was damaged during shipping. A similar item can be chosen as replacement, alternatively, the purchase price can be claimed / repaid through Canada Post or the Courier service depending on the insurance.

An exchange of purchased items can be only be negotiated for pieces with a price of $150 or higher. The artist endeavours to represent colours and shapes of items as truly as possible in online photos. The artist, however, is unable to exchange items which are repeatedly returned.

GIFT CERTIFICATES
can be ordered and sent to the recipient's address on request. If the value of the certificate does not cover shipping and handling fees, the costs for these services will be charged.

COMMISSIONED ORDERS:
The artist accepts orders to paint, or to create items and objects similar to those shown on the website. A working schedule, a shipping method and a deposit should be negotiated and agreed upon, before the artist starts the job.


PAYMENTS:
With Cash - on pick up directly at the artist's studio in Evansville, on Manitoulin Island.
By Cheque (with a 2 week safety / deposit period) or Money Order inside Canada
Credit Cards will be accepted and presently processed manually, as soon as artforyougallery.com has installed and activated all necessary banking and credit card features.
